Deadlines, Deadlines and More Deadlines

It feels as if I have said it so many times before already but the past few weeks have been absolute mayhem!

Most of the mayhem was postive though. For instance, about two weeks back I received an email announcing that I was selected for the Etos Social Ambassadors Program, which means that roughly every month I will receive a goodie-box with products they want me to review, as one of their employees. Of course I was over the moon when I found out that they wanted me to be part of this program. So last week I went to the first event organised by Etos where I got a training by Yara Michels and Emma Peijnenburg, and where I got to meet my fellow ambassadors. It was so much fun and also very informative and I am excited to share this journey with you guys. I will tell you more about this in another post this week.

Another big thing this month, or these past few months, had to do with my English Bachelor. As some of you may know, after my first year of uni I was very excited and absolutely loved studying Communication and Information sciences but it was not very challenging, which is why I decided to continue my first bachelor but also pick up a second one, English. This year, or better said, these past weeks I have been writing my B.A. Thesis on Disney’s Tarzan. The same week that I had my Social Ambassador meeting I also had my thesis deadline (and the fitting of my suit for my Board year, told you it was busy!) and after only two days I found out that I passed my thesis!!!! Which means that if I pass my Creative Writing portfolio I will be receiving my first Bachelor of the Arts this fall!! I am so incredibly excited and proud of myself for not giving up.

So you can expect a lot more posts in the future as my schedule is slowly clearing up and I can finally dedicate more time to blogging again. Thank you for sticking with me during these busy times and not giving up on me.
